Sterling Silver & Rubber Two Part Necklace

This necklace only works as a wearable piece of jewellery when the two sections are linked together. The concept came from the mutually beneficial relationship that exists between trees and mycelium. One works better when alongside the other.

The silver “infinity” curve has a simple, but eyecatching form and works well with the contrasting colour and texture of the rubber. The natural, flexible form of the rubber is perfect as the second part of the necklace, threading through the silver and folding in half, before putting over the wearers head.

The silver curve has outer dimentions of 190x104mm and inner dimentions of 170x94mm. The diameter of the silver is 2.5mm. The rubber ring has an outer diameter of 190mm and the diameter of the rubber itself is 3.5mm. The total weight of the piece is 36.5g.
