Sterling Silver Gem Shape Bracelet

The inspiration for the "Gem Shape" collection came from my fascination with the way that gemstones are cut, combined with the fact that a simple 2D shape can look, unmistakably, like a gem. I took the 2D shape and created a 3D outline which I then finished to convey the idea of facets, or in some cases, to give sparkle.

This sterling silver "Gem shape" bracelet is constructed from three different sizes of gem shape link, connected by little oval links. The links at the back of the bracelet are smaller with a polished finish and the medium-sized ones at the front have a sparkle finish. The large gem shape charm has a hammered finish to give the impression of facets, which catch the light. Each of the links moves independently making it a very tactile bracelet to wear. It also makes a beautifully bold statement.

The bracelet measures 8 inches (20.5cm) long and has an albert swivel clasp.

The small links measure 18.5x13x1mm, the medium ones are 14x20.5x2.2mm and the charm measures approximately 30.5x20x3.3mm. The approximate weight of the bracelet is 20.7g.
