This solid 9ct yellow gold pendant has the beautiful tactile texture of mushroom gills. It is highly polished on the surface, with matt areas in between which bring the piece to life.
The pendant measures 20.5 x 13 x 6mm. It sits on a rubber necklet, with a stainless steel clasp, measuring 16” (41cm). I can also quote to supply a 9ct gold chain on request.
I am fascinated by mushrooms and mycelium and their mutually beneficial relationship with trees. I wanted to create a piece of jewellery that showed the preciousness of this resource that we take for granted, which is why I chose to use gold.
